Abstract
Active receiving antennas with an integrated filter, amplifier, mixer and l ocal oscillator have significant radiation at the local oscillator frequenc y. This radiation may be out of band and could be a problem in cluttered en vironments. In this Letter, the problem is evaluated through measurements a nd simulation on integrated microstrip patch antennas.
