Abstract
An aperture-coupled equilateral-triangular dielectric resonator antenna (DR A) of very high permittivity (epsilon(r) = 82) is investigated experimental ly. The triangular DRA is more compact in size than rectangular and circula r disk DRAs operating at the same frequency. The impedance matching, radiat ion patterns and antenna gain of the triangular DRA are presented.
