The past years are characterized by a tremendous gain of knowledge in the h
eld of health and nutrition research, not included in traditional weight re
duction programmes. The study therefore, aims at drafting testing and evalu
ating of a new pedagogic concept of how to reduce overweight unter health-p
romoting aspects.
In part 1, a concept of how to advise overweight patients is presented whic
h takes the many psychic and social aspects of the eating behaviour into ac
count. In part 2, evaluation of the programme and the results obtained are
described.
