Abstract
The calculations of 10(14)-10(15) W/cm(2) laser interaction with volume-str uctured agar-agar and Cu targets were performed. The influence of intrinsic X-ray plasma radiation on the propagation of thermal waves in such targets was investigated. It is shown that the velocity of heat transfer in agar-a gar foam targets is increased due to X-ray preheating when a thin Cu layer is added.
