Abstract
In this letter we show how the covariant anomaly emerges in the overla p scheme. We also prove that the overlap scheme correctly reproduces t he anomaly in the flavour currents such as j(mu)(5) in vector like the ories like QCD. (C) 1997 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.
