The essential oil from the aerial parts of Coespeletia timotensis was analy
zed by GC and GC-MS (Gas chromatography/Mass Spectra). Twenty seven compoun
ds representing 96.52% off the oil were identified. The most abundant const
ituents were beta-phellandrene (45.7%), alpha-pinene (27.1%), and beta-pine
