Abstract
Thirteen monogenic morphological marker traits of lentil were analysed for their joint inheritance in 25 crosses. Only three traits showed linkage: Er t (for spreading-erect growth habit), Gs (for brown-green stem) and BI (for brown-green leaf). The recombination frequency between BI and Gs was 14%, between BI and Ert 34%, and between Gs and Ert 38%. Thus, the gene Bl is lo cated between Ert and Gs.
