Abstract
The study of a larger collection of earthworms from different regions of Fr ance enables comments on genera described from this country and on some oth er recently described genera: Orodrilus Bouche, 1972, Prosellodrilus Bouche , 1972, Krizodrilus Bouche, 1972, Satchellius Gates, 1978, Murchieona Gates , 1978, Allolobophoridella Mrsic, 1990. Five species and one subspecies are described as new to science : Lumbricus klarae sp. n., Kritodrilus tetryae sp. n., Kritodrilus micrurus sp. n., Aporrectodea haymoziformis sp. n., Pr osellodrilus albus sp. n., and Lumbricus friendi bouchei ssp. n.
