Abstract
The authors describe a case of a 43-year-old woman affected by acquired par tial lipodystrophy associated with localized scleroderma and undifferentiat ed connective tissue disease. Moreover, they review the literature on patho genetic mechanisms suspected to be involved in partial lipodystrophy and th eir association with autoimmune diseases.
