Abstract
Myxoid liposarcoma is an intermediate malignancy tumor that contributes 50% of all liposarcomas. Four cases investigated by plain radiography and comp uted tomography with and without contrast injection are reported, There wer e two men and two women, aged 30, 50, 69, and 36 years, respectively. A pai nless swelling in a thigh was the presenting symptom in all four cases. Com puted tomography findings were suggestive of liposarcoma in two cases; in o ne case there was a heterogeneous hypodense mass and in the other a cyst-li ke mass. Histological examination of a surgical biopsy specimen established the diagnosis in all four cases. One patient developed a single recurrence and another two recurrences.
