Abstract
This article explains the difference between complementary and alternative medicine and describes the current levels of use of such therapies in the U nited States of America, particularly among cancer patients. The complement ary therapies that can help cancer patients during treatment for their dise ase and during rehabilitation are treated in greater depth.
