Studies on interface energy of phase transfer catalysis reactions

The interface tension and surface tension of the phase transfer catalysis r eactions (using phase transfer catalysts, hydrocarbon surfactants and fluor ocarbon surfactants) have been determined. It is found that phase transfer catalysts and surfactants can reduce the interface tension and surface tens ion of the reaction systems. The results show that the interface tension an d surface tension play an important role in the reaction systems.
