Although non-Hodgkin's lymphoma of the gastrointestinal tract is common, pr
imary esophageal lymphomas represent less than 1% of all gastrointestinal t
umors. We report a case of primary non-Hodgkin's lymphoma of the esophagus.
Ga-67 scintigraphy showed characteristic intense accumulation in the esoph
ageal wall. The histopathology belonged to the category of mucosa-associate
d lymphoid tissue lymphoma.
