Abstract
Although an uncommon complication, inadvertent suturing of the chest tube t o the chest wall during closure of a thoracotomy, unfortunately can happen. This frustrating Situation likely leads to a rethoracotomy and cutting of the suture in order to release the chest tube. In this report, we propose a fast and easy solution to this problem.
