Abstract
We describe an alternative step in the transatrial approach to the repair o f ventricular septal defects. We temporarily detach the chorda of the obscu ring tricuspid valve from its attachment to the septum to expose the ventri cular septal defect. (C) 2000 by The Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
