Abstract
In this paper, we study the stability of solutions of the a-dimensional non homogeneous and anisotropic elastic system with memory condition working at the boundary. We show that such dissipation is strong enough to produce ex ponential decay to the solution, provided the relaxation function also deca ys exponentially. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd.
