Abstract
The paper presents the results of the study on nonthermal glow from the sur face of metals, which is initiated by thermal deformations resulting from l aser pulse action. The temporal dependences of the glow intensity have been investigated. Oscillations of glow intensity were revealed, which are inte rpreted by a certain order of dislocations rising on the surface.
