Abstract
Leaf and bud exudate flavonoids were analysed for all Eucryphia species, an d 28 compounds were identified. Cladistic analyses of phytochemical data in dicate that the two Tasmanian species, E. lucida and E. milliganii are sist er taxa, which is consistent with morphological studies, Cluster analysis a nd ordination would suggest that the species E. wilkiei from north eastern Queensland is relatively isolated from other Australian and South American taxa.
