Abstract
The construction of glucose biosensor by immobilization of glucose oxidase( GOD) on the surface of hydrophilic Bu and hydrophobic SiO2 nanoparticles is reported, and polyvinyl butyral(PVB) is used as auxiliary immobilization e nzyme matrix. The data of the current response of enzyme electrodes contain ing hydrophilic Au and hydrophobic SiO2 nanoparticles to glucose are obtain ed. The experiments show that the nanoparticle would have a very strong enh ancement effect on the GOD electrode response sensitivity, A mechanism for the behavior of the different kind of nanoparticles is proposed. The experi ment and theory proved the function of nanoparticles in immobilization enzy me. This report provides experimental and theoretical basis for preparing t he useful glucose biosensor.
