Abstract
Tissue expansion is a versatile addition to the armamentarium of the recons tructive burn surgeon. It has proven particularly useful in the forgiving t issues of the head and neck, providing an alternative to traditional skin g rafting and flaps and often yielding superior aesthetic results. This artic le addresses indications and techniques for tissue expansion in the head an d neck burn patient.
