Abstract
The single crystals of the compositions Tm(HCOO)(3). 2H(2)O and Lu(HCOO)(3) . 2H(2)O have been synthesized and their domain structures have been determ ined. Only the thermal-polarization currents were detected, whereas neither pyro- nor piezoelectric currents were observed at all, It was concluded th at the crystals synthesized are pure ferroelastics, at least up to T = 140 degrees C.
