Abstract
Microwave irradiation for 15 minutes allowed the highly selective hydrother mal synthesis of the diamagnetic, air-stable oxidation catalyst [PW11O39RuI I(DMSO)](5-), as confirmed by H-1, P-31, Ru-99 and W-183 NMR techniques.
