Abstract
The reaction of N-acetyl-3-acyl tetramic acids with substituted amines is d escribed. The influence of the N-acetyl group on the equilibrium between di fferent 'external' and 'internal' tautomeric structures of N-acetyl-3-amino alkyl tetramic acids 6-14 was investigated by H-1 and C-13 NMR spectroscopy .
