Abstract
The Mannich reaction of 3-(substituted)-4-(1-phenyl-3-methyl-5-chloro-4-pyr azolidine)amino-5-mercapto-1, 2, 4-triazoles 3 with formaldehyde and approp riate amine results in the regioselective formation of 1-aminomethyl-3- (su bstituted)-4-(1-phenyl-3-methyl-5-chloro-4-pyrazolidine)amino- 1, 2, 4-tria zole-5-thiones 4. The structures of new compounds have been established by analytical and spectral data These compounds have been tested for their ant ifungal and antibacterial activities.
