Abstract
The essential oil (0.24%) from the leaves of Artabotrys odoratissimus R.Br. has been analysed by chromatographic, spectroscopic and chemical methods. Fifteen constituents (96.13%) have been characterised. The oil has been fou nd rich in terpinen-4-ol (38.63%), caryophyllene oxide (11.78%) and linaloo l (11.17%).
