Abstract
The earthworm genera Dendrobaena Eisen, 1874 and Bimastos Moore, 1891 in Is rael were studied. Twelve taxa were collected, of which three species, B. j ordanis, D. nevoi, and D. negevis spp. nov., are newly described. The taxon omic status of D. orientalis, D. semitica, and D. veneta kervillei is clari fied.
