In this article, the authors argue for and operationalize the adoption of a
uto-ethnographic research methods to explore the impact of TRIO participati
on oil the development of social, political, anti professional capacities a
mong educators who have been students and staff members gf the programs. Th
ey invite the reader on a journey of reacquaintance with their individual e
ducational histories, presented in the form of a textual collage. Through t
hese reflections, they explore the intersections of cultural and racial/eth
nic identity and discuss the implications of understanding such histories a
nd identities for the administration of TRIO programs today.
