Abstract
A combined electron diffraction and mass spectrometric study of the overhea ted vapor over barium dipivaloylmethanate was performed. It was found that at 488 degrees C the monomeric molecular form predominates in the vapor. Th e Ba(dpm)(2) molecule has D-2d symmetry. Its r(a), r(g), and r(alpha) param eters were determined.
