Abstract
The total and the 90 degrees differential cross sections for the photoproto n reaction O-16(gamma,p(3))N-15* leading to the third 3/2(-) excited state of N-15 are calculated for photos energies up to 120 MeV by using the conti nuum random phase approximation (CRPA) approach. A correlated source functi on; which makes the numerical calculation possible, is used in solving for the continuum response function. The structures of the theoretical cross se ctions are in good agreement with the corresponding experimental data.
