Abstract
Cordana miniumbonata anam. sp. nov., found on fallen decaying leaves of uni dentified plant in an undisturbed rainforest in Venezuela, is described and illustrated. The fungus is characterized by obovoid to sub-pyriform, 3-sep tate, dark brown conidia with a slightly umbonate apex. A table comparing t he new species with previously described species is presented.
