Development of new banking terminal

NEC has developed a new terminal that improves the efficiency of the counte r operations of financial institutions. This terminal features a built-in m ulti-bankbook printer, a desk stand scanner, and an image workflow system. The multi-bankbook printer integrates functions designed to make work faste r, including conveying records using a micro-stepping system, turning bankb ook pages with friction rollers, and simultaneous printing of multiple reco rds with two printer heads. The desk stand scanner is a non-contact image s canner characterized by easy operation and compact design. In addition, ima ge data scanned by the desk stand scanner can be transmitted to remote syst ems with the image workflow system.
