Abstract
A patient with AIDS and cytomegalovirus (CMV) retinitis developed a massive bilateral peripheral occlusive vasculopathy with a bilateral neovasculariz ation of the optic disc five weeks after the introduction of highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART). No associate cause of occlusive vasculopath y was found. Occlusive vasculopathy and optic disc neovascularization may b e an immune recovery-related ocular disorder.
