The process of aggregation of charged particles generated by the external s
ource and subsequent kinetics of their recombination after switching off an
external source (reaction A + B --> 0) was studied. it was shown that the
three-dimensional Coulomb interaction suppresses the aggregation of particl
es and the concentration decay after switching off the source corresponds t
o the law of formal kinetics t(-l). In two dimension the Coulomb interactio
n is sufficiently weak and it is unable to suppress completely the aggregat
ion of particles. The concentration law after switching off the source is t
(-1/3). This analytical result was confirmed by numerical simulation. (C) 2
