Abstract
Four new Mexican species of the leafhopper subfamily Megophthalminae are de scribed and illustrated: Brenda gracilicauda, B, bidentata, B. licrocerca, and Tiaja leonensis. These species extend the known range of both New World megophthalmine genera considerably southeast. A key to New World Megophtha lminae is provided.
