Abstract
The C-2-symmetric, chiral 1,1'-bis(phosphetano)ferrocenes 1 have been prepa red from the cyclic sulfates of optically pure, 1,3-diols. They have been t ested in the rhodium catalysed hydrogenation of unsaturated substrates.
