Abstract
Condensation of cyano- and nitro-activated o-fluoro-benzaldehydes with amid ines took place in refluxing acetonitrile in the presence of K2CO3 and powd ered molecular sieves 4A to give a variety of quinazoline derivatives in go od yields.
