Abstract
A method is described to obtain 4H-chromen-4-ylidenamines 4, through the re action of o-imidoyl phenol dianions 2' with aromatic esters and subsequent acid cyclisation of the 3-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-3-(amino)-1-phenylprop-2-en-1-o nes 3 obtained. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
