Abstract
The type material of Macrobiotus augusti Murray, 1907 was re-examined, with the conclusion that the species must be attributed to the genus Thulinia. The other two species of Thulinia were re-considered and studied more in de pth with LM and SEM. The genus Thulinia and the species Thulinia augusti co mb, n, were re-described.
