Abstract
The idea of coarse-grained gluon field is discussed. We recall motivation f or introducing such a field. Next, we outline the approach to small momenta limit of lattice coarse-grained gluon field presented in our paper hep-ph/ 9803392. This limit points to color dielectric type models with a number of scalar and tensor fields instead of single scalar dielectric field.
