Abstract
The results of modernizing Specord UV-VIS, Specord M40, and Specord M80 spe ctrophotometers (Carl Zeiss, Jena) are described. As a result of modernizat ion, the functions of the instruments were restored and extended, which mad e it possible to obtain spectra in the digital form. The modernization invo lved the replacement of-the electronic units of the devices and their attac hment to IBM personal computers.
