Abstract
Synthesis and characterization of some new coordination compounds of organo tin(IV) with nitrogen and oxygen donor ligands have been described. These h ave been obtained by the reactions of dibutyltinoxide with monobasic bident ate ligands derived by the condensation of 1-acetylfuran or 2-acetylthiophe ne with glycine, beta-alanine, valine, leucine and tryptophan in 1:2 stoich iometry. Suitable structures based on IR, multinuclear magnetic resonance ( H-1, C-13 and Sn-119) spectral studies have been indicated for these new de rivatives.
