Abstract
A guidewire-induced distal coronary artery perforation presenting with card iac tamponade was occluded by distal Gelfoam embolization via an infusion c atheter. This extends the treatment options for this rare complication of c oronary interventional procedures. (C) 2000 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
