Abstract
The readily available benzene-1,3,5-tricarboxamide 1 enhances CsNO3 extract ion by tetrabenzo-24-crown-8 via hydrogen bonding to the nitrate anion, as demonstrated by NMR and electrospray ionization mass spectrometry.
