Abstract
A molecular vase, analogous to a calix[4]arene, has been generated from (en )Pd-II and 4,6-dimethyl-2-hydroxypyrimidine, the X-ray crystallographic stu dy showing that this compound is able to incorporate a gadolinium atom.
