Abstract
2 x 40Gbit/s WDM regenerated, dispersion-managed transmission over transoce anic distances is demonstrated using InP Mach-Zehnder modules. The impact o f the channel spacing on system performance is also investigated, resulting in error-free transmission with a channel spacing as small as 200GHz.
