Wz. Wang et al., EFFECT OF INTER-SITE ELECTRON-ELECTRON INTERACTION ON THE SPIN AND CHARGE-DENSITY IN INTERCHAIN COUPLED ORGANIC FERROMAGNETS, Europhysics letters, 38(7), 1997, pp. 539-544
A theoretical model is given to deal with two neighboring organic ferr
omagnetic chains including the inter-site electron-electron interactio
n. The results show that when the inter-site e-e interaction is greate
r than a critical value, which varies with the interchain coupling, th
ere exists charge density wave(CDW) along the main chain. When the int
erchain coupling increases to a critical value, the CDW disappears and
the spin density redistributes. The interchain coupling stabilizes th
e ferromagnetic state while the inter-site e-e interaction makes it un
stable.
