Abstract
Analysis of a physical model for spiral inductors on silicon leads to the c onductor trace width that maximizes the duality factor at a given frequency . The simplicity of the physical model enables a computational procedure fo r efficiently optimizing the inductor quality factor and self-resonant freq uency.
