Abstract
Using five different equation of states (EOS), namely, (Patel-Teja, Peng-Ro binson, Schmidt-Wenzel, Harmens-Knapp and Cubic Chain of Rotators) which ac curately express the vapor pressure and PVT properties, Delta C-p the diffe rence between heat capacities of real fluid and ideal gas has been carefull y estimated. The compounds under study are a series of hydrocarbons and hyd rocarbons with hetroatoms. Experimental data agrees well with Schmidt-Wenze l equation of state.
