Abstract
The reaction between N-4-dimethyl-2-acetylpyridine-N-oxide thiosemicarbazon e (HAPOTSC) ligand and cobalt chloride leads to the formation of a cationic complex containing two thiolato N-oxide thiosemicarbazone ligands, which h as been characterized by spectroscopic and X-ray crystallographic studies.
