S = 3.46 for 2968 observed reflections [I>3 sigma(I-0)] has been prepared a
nd characterised by X-ray analysis. The structure consists of discrete dinu
clear, [Cu(i-ppBET)(2)(H2O)](2)(4+) cations and four independent (ClO4)(-)
anions. Each Cu2+ is five-coordinate with four carboxylato O atoms and an a
qua ligand.
